During the~1atter part of'1984WGenerbl2 Electric Company"N& clear 2 F GLme Fuel Manufacturing Department request'ed :and was granted a limited exception to use 1983 measured values in lieu of 1984 measured values in the statement of a portion of the 1984 inventory.
Following this authorization, General Electric submitted to the NRC a description of the discrepant U-f actor investigation to be performed by GE.
The results of this study are hereby submitted as an attachment to this letter.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(d), General Electric requests that this l
information be withheld from public disclosure as this material identifies GE procedures for safeguarding licensed special nuclear material.
.As this information is submitted per a NRC directive, no licensee fee is deemed necessary.
General Electric personnel would be pleased to discuss this matter further with you and your staff as you may deem necessary.
