7/10/85 will be conducted by the Training Depart-mont prior to fuel receipt involving prac-tico using a shipping container and dummy fuel assemblies.

How do you ensure that administrativo pro-cedures for fuel handling are proporly instituted and maintained?
Rosponso 2:
Those station administrativo proceduros i
and departmental implomonting procedures which control and guido the conduct of new fuel rocoipt, inspection and storage will bo prepared, reviewed and approved in accordance with prosently approved admin-istrativo controls.
Those administrativo controls requiro review by the responsible department engi-noor and the Station Operations Review Committoo.
Station administrative proco-duros are approved by the Gonoral Manager -
Hopo Crook Operations; departmental pro-ceduros are approved by the responsible department manager.
All proceduro revisions are reviewed and approved at the samo level as the original proceduro.
Ouontion 3:
Stato the maximum number of loaded ship-ping containers to be located at the Hope Crook sito at any one time.
Rosponso 3:
It is planned that fuel will be unloaded from the shipping containers prior to the i
arrival of the next shipment.
- However, loaded shipping containers may be tempora-rily stored on the refueling floor or in the reactor building railroad access area on the 102' olovation.
A maximum of 30 loaded metal shipping containors can bo 4
stored on the refueling floor.
Up to throo shipments of fuel can be stored in the railroad access area which amounts to

7/10/85 an additional 45 loaded shipping con-tainers.
Gonoral Electric will be con-tacted to halt further shipments and provent this storage capacity from being excooded.
