Clarification of Final Letter (CDR 83-00-02)

Dear Sir:

In Reference (c), we issued the final report regarding the actions taken to correct the design problem with the General Atomic RM-23 Display. We incorrectly stated that all units had been corrected.

At the time the problem was discovered, the safety-related units were at the General Atomic Facility. Those units were corrected prior to shipment.

The units which were on site at that time are nonsafety-related and will be corrected in the field.

Since all of the safety-related units have been corrected, this will be our final report on this item.
