Final 10CFR50.55(e) Report: Westinghouse Type SA-1 Differential Relays (CDR 84-00-07)
Dear Sir:
In Reference (b), we filed an interim 10CFR50.55(e) report regarding a number of potential deficiencies associated with Westinghouse Type SA-1 differential relays which are used in the protection scheme for the emergency diesel generators. The deficiencies involved defective silicon-controlled rectifiers, defective tantalum capacitors and insuf ficient surge-withstand capability.
As stated in Reference (b), we planned to correct the applicable deficiencies based on manufacturer's recommendations. The corrective ac tions based on manuf acturer's recommendations have been verified complete. This is our final report on this item.
