Martin Vice President Engineering and Construction 80 Park Plaza - 17C Newark, New Jersey 07101 Gentlemen: Subject: Inspection Report No. 50-354/85-33 This refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. G. Napuda of this office on July 8-12 and 15-18, 1985, at Hope Creek Generating Station Unit 1, Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey, of activities authorized by NRC Construction Permit No. CPPR-120 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Napuda with you and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection. Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector. Our inspector also verified the steps you had taken to correct the violations brought to your attention in letters dated March 7 and April 25, 1985. We have no further questions regarding your action at this time. Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed. No reply to this letter is required.
