HCGS SER OUTSTANDING ISSUE 5 - SOLID STATE LOGIC MODULES HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 Pursuant to closure of the subject SER Outstanding Issue, enclosed for NRC review is Public Service Electric and Gas Company's (PSE&G) report on the resolution of electromag-netic interference (EMI) effects on Bailey input logic modules.

Sections 5.0 and 6.0 of this report also address the poten-tial ef fects of EMI on other Class lE systems and resolution of side ef f ects caused by modification of the Bailey logic module input buffers, respectively.

These items were ide n-tified in a meeting with NRC staff on February 15, 1985.
