REPORT NOS. 50-259/85-08, 50-260/85-08 AND 50-296/85-08
On February 4,1985, NRC inspected activities authorized by NRC Operating
License Nos. DPR-33, DPR-52 and DPR-68 for your Browns Ferry facility.
On
February 7, an Enforcement Conference was held in the Region II Office to
discuss the results of the inspection.
On March 14, an additional Enforcement
Conference was held at your request to discuss your corrective actions.
The area examined during this inspection was your Physical Security Program
for controlling access to vital areas as observed by our Resident Inspector on
February 4,1985.
The enforcement action related to this inspection was addressed to you in a
letter dated May 2,1985, from Dr. J. Nelson Grace, Regional Administrator.
In accordant *. -fth 10 CFR 2.790(d) and 10 CFR 73.21, safeguards activities and
security meawes are exempt from public disclosure; therefore, the enclosure
to this letter, with the exception of the report cover page which presents a
nonexempt summary, will not be placed in NRC's Public Document Room.
The responses directed by this letter and the enclosure are not subject to the
clearance procedures of the Office of Management and Budget issued under the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, PL 96-511.
