The Summary of Opr! rations section in the September Monthly Performance Report for Unit 2 sta$ed that "the unit started the month in a coastdown I
condition for the upr.oming refuel outage." The following clarification replacos l
this statement-l At the beginning o the reporting period, the plant was derated due to f
suppression of a fuelleaker. This limited the unit to ninety percent power.
Additionally, the r; umber two Turbine Control Valve had been administratively closed in Augusi and remained closed during the September reporting period.
These two facto!s limited the reactor power to eighty percent. On September 21,1996, the unit shutdown for a scheduled refueling outage.
