Office on May 7, 1985. This meeting was held to apprise NRC of TVA's progress in establishing a generic section for TVA's Emergency Preparedness Plan.

SUBJECT:

GENERIC SECTION OF TVA'S EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PLAN On May 7, 1985, representatives of lennessee Valley Authority (TVA) met with NRC Region II personnel in Atlanta, GA. TVA requested the meeting to apprise Region II of its progress in establishing a generic section for a TVA Emergency Preparedness Plan to be augmented by site specific sections for each of TVA's facilities. The attendance list is attached as an Appendix to this summary.

TVA representatives provided Region II a draft copy of the generic section of the plan. The concept and advantages of the generic plan were discussed by the j TVA representatives. Region II personnel agreed to review the draft documents and provide comments at a future meeting. Additional discussion focused on implementation of the generic portion as well as a review of the TVA matrix for protective action decisionmaking. No other commitments were made by either agency.
