Subject: Inspection Report No. 50-354/85-08
This refers to the routine inspection conducted by H. W. Kerch of this office
on April 8 through May 3,1985 at Hope Creek Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1, of
activities authorized by NRC License No. CPPR-120 and to the discus: ions of
our findings held by H. W. Kerch with E. C. Logan at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection included welding, nondestructive
examination, and the preservice :nspection program. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
In
addition. the NRC_ Nondestructive Examination Van was also used to make certain
independent physical measurements.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
