BOARD NOTIFICATION 85-063 TDI DIESEL AIR START CHECK VALVE CRACKS AT SHOREHAM By memorandum dated June 18, 1985, the Director of the Division of Licensing informed the Shoreham Board of cracks in, and failures of, certain check valves used in the Shoreham TDI diesel generators. These most recent problems with the Shoreham TDI's were apparently discovered on April 2, 1985 and Region I brought this to the attention of NRR on April 19, 1985, as a possible ratter for hearing board notification.
I would like to know why it took essentially two months to trake the notification.
