This letter is to inform the NRC of a 14 day delay in the Southern California Edison (Edison) response to Generic Letter (GL) 96-04, "Boraflex Degradation l
in Spent Fuel Pool Storage Racks."
l GL 96-04 required a response within 120 days of the issue date, July 9,1996.
Edison intends to respond to the specific questions in GL 96-04 and provide the information that is requested.
Edison's response to GL 96-04 will be submitted by November 7, 1996, 14 days later than the due date of l
October 24, 1996.
