We are continuing our review of your request for license termination and decommissioning of Facility Operating License No. R-117 for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Low Power Reactor Assembly (LOPRA) which you submitted on February 10, 1995, as supplemented. During our review of your i request, questions have arisen for which we require additional information and clarification. Please provide responses to the enclosed Request for Additional Information within 30 days of the date of this letter. 1. Please provide your estimate and bases of the dose received by the reactor staff and public in carrying out the activities to decommission the LOPRA.

2. What is your estimate of the cost of decommissioning the LOPRA? Please break the cost into estimates of labor, waste disposal, supplies and equipment, etc. How will these costs be met?

3. What are your plans to ensure that any LOPRA records pertinent to decommissioning of the TRIGA reactor are retained?
