Dear Mr. McHeekin:
1 By letter dated September 1,1995, you applied for amendments to the McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2, Operating License Nos. NPF-9 and NPF-17, respectively.
The proposed change would have modified the McGuire Technical Specifications to reduce the required ice weight in the containment ice condensers.
Subsequently, by letter dated September 1, 1996, you withdrew the amendment request.
1 The purpose of this letter is to advise you that the above cited application is being treated as withdrawn. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Reaister.
