Dear Freedom of Information Officer:
According to an Energy Research and Development Administration document titled " Report on Strategic Special Nuclear Material Inventory Differences" (Attachment 1 - cover page), the Energy Research and Develoment Administration maintained ruclear material transfer records for private nuclear facilities licensed b-
'e Atomic Energy Comission during the period 1953 through 1967, and the N.
e Regulatory Comission maintained nuclear material transfer records for private nuclear facilities licensed by the Atomic Energy Comission between 1968 and 1974.
Therefore, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. 552, I request the following records from the Nuclear Regulatory Comission:
- 1) All Form AEC 388 SS Material Transfer Forms for Docket 70-925, SNM-928, dated January 1,1968 through December 31, 1974, Cimarron Uranium Facility, Logan County, Oklahoma
- 2) All Form AEC 388 SS Material Transfer Forms for Docket 70-1193, SNM-1174, dated January 1,1970 through December 31, 1974, Cimarron Mixed Oxide Facility, Logan County, Oklahoma As I am requesting all Form AEC 388 records for specific periods of time for two facility dockets, and I am not requesting that the Nuclear Regulatory Comission search for varied categories of documents, I expect that any search time involved in the processing of this request will be minimal. For this reason, I request a waiver of search fees pursuant to 10 CFR 9.14a(a)1, which states that search fees shall be waived "when the time for the search does not exceed four hours, in the aggregate, for a request or series of related requests."
I do agree to pay all document photocopy and postage costs.
I await your reply within ten days, as required by law.
