Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. Robert E. Farrell of this office
during the period March 11 through April 19, 1985, of activities authorized by
NRC Construction Permit CPPR-145 for River Bend Station, and to the discussion
of our findings with Mr. J. C. Deddens and other members of your staff at the
conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection included licensee action on previously
identified inspection findings, maintenance program, test and measurement
equipment, surveillance testing and calibration control program, design changes
and modifications, document control, allegation review, and site tours.
Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the
inspector.
These findings are documented in the enclosed report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified. There were however,:33 open items identified which will be
reinspected in future inspections.
Should you have any questions concerning this inspection, we will be pleased to
discuss them with you.
