Inspection No. 50-322/85-24
This letter refers to the routine resident safety inspection conducted
by Mr. P. W. Eselgroth on May 16 - June 18,1985, at the Shoreham Nuclear
Power Station, Wading River, New York. The inspection consisted of obser-
vations of activities,' interviews with personnel and document reviews.
The results of the inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspection
Report enclosed with this letter and were discussed with members of your
staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
This inspection report closes one inspection item and opens one new item.
No violations of NRC requirements were found, and you need not reply to
this letter.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosures
will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
