Dear Ms. Garde and Ms. Varricchio:

On September 28, 1984, you furnished the Nuclear Regulatory Commission with information indicating possible deficiencies in the construction of the Union Electric Company's Callaway Nuclear Plant. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission processed your information as a request for action under 10 CFR 2.206 and as allegations. The review of the 10 CFR 2.206 request for action is still under review. However, the Region III Office has completed the inspection of the allegations and their inspection report reviewing the majority of the allegations is enclosed for your information. In addition to Region III's inspection, several allegations were forwarded to the Office of Investigations.
