LThank~you for your letter of April 4,1985, in response to our letter dated March 7,1985, and enclosed Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) report
. dated December 14, 1984. We have reviewed your response and find it responsive
-to the concerns ~ about the primary alert and notification system identified in our letter and FEMA report.
We will continue to review the implementation of your corrective actions for this deficiency.
Please keep this office informed of the results of any tests
-or assessments conducted to evaluate the system.
In addition to the future periodic public awareness program described in your reply, you should also
- ensure that you maintain an effective and functional alert and notification system in accordance with the-guidelines ~in Section E.6.2.3 of FEMA-43,
" Standard Guide for the Evaluation of Alert and Notification Systems for Nuclear Power Plants."
