Fort Calhoun Station Updated Safety Analysis Report, Appendix A In the District's continuing effort to improve performance and ensure compliance with applicable regul ations, guides, and standards and as permitted by 10 CFR 50.54(a)(3), Appendix A of the Fort Calhoun Station Updated Safety Analysis Report (USAR) has been revised.
This revision was required in order to:
reflect current organization and titles more specifically identify commitments to ANSI standards and Regula+ ory Guides incorporate editorial changes and relocate material to more appropriate sections Although the number of changes is extensive, the majority of these changes reflect items of an administrative nature and relocating material to more appropriate sections.
The revised description of the Quality Assurance Program reflects present commmitments and quality practices and therefore no reduction in the level of commitment is planned.

In addition, to facilitate your review, one copy of the 1984 description and one copy of the 1985 description have been highlighted.
Highlighted. sections on the 1984 issue are sections which have been changed, rearranged, or deleted, whereas the highlighted sections in the revised issue indicate changes, rearrangements, or additions.
The annual update of the USAR as required by 10 CFR 50.71e will incorporate the revised version of Appendix A.
