Thank you for your letter dated July 3,1985, which included a copy of Wisconsin Electric Power Company's scope and objectives for the Point Beach Nuclear Plant emergency preparedness exercise scheduled for September 10, 1985.
We have reviewed the scope and objectives and they were determined to be acceptable. The pulling of a Post Accident Sample was not included in the scope and objectives, but a mutually agreeable way to handle that was discussed between Mr. J. Knorr of your staff and Mr. W. Snell of my staff on July 10, 1985.
My staff will provide any future comments regarding the exercise scenario to Mr. Knorr via telephone.
