SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES Hiahliahts Vermont Yankee operated at 97.4% of rated thermal power for the month. Gross electrical generation was 363,263 MWH,or 94.3% of design electrical capacity.

Operatina Summary The following is a chronological description of plant operations including other pertinent items of interest for the month:

At the beginning of the reporting period the plant was operating at 99.7% of rated thermal power.

850602 At 0030 hrs, a power reduction was initiated for main turbine and control rod surveillance.

850602 At 0207 hrs, a return to full power was started.

850615 At 0030 hrs a power reduction was initiated for main turbine and control rod testing.

850615 At 0152 hrs. a return to full power was started.

850630 At 0030 hrs. a power reduction was initiated for main turbine and control rod surveillance.

850630 At 0030 hrs. a return to full power was started.

At the end of the reporting period the plant was operating at 93% of rated thermal power.
