EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM (ENS) - HATCH NUCLEAR POWER PLANT This letter responds to your letter of April 13, 1984, regarding the establishment of ENS extension from the control room simulator to the Emergency Operations Facility.
This issue has been discussed with the NRC Telecommunications Branch, Division of Facilities and Operations Support /ADM. The Telecommunications Branch has advised us that the addition of this line could result in degradation of the quality of the emergency notification system; therefore, this request is dis-approved.
Further discussion on this subject should be directed to the NRC Telecommunications Branch in Washington, DC.
