FEMA FINAL REPORT ON GRAND GULF NUCLEAR STATION EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS EXERCISE OF FEBRUARY 27, 1985 Please find enclosed for your information a copy of the FEMA Final Report regarding evaluation of the Grand Gulf off-site Emergency Exercise of February 27, 1985.
Your attention is directed to the areas for improvement identified by FEMA and the respective recommended corrective actions.
We encourage you to assist the State of Louisiana and Tensas Parish to resolve the items disclosed by FEMA. Resolution of these items should be completed prior to the next full-scale exercise.
We also encourage you to work closely with the above cited State and respective parish in the development of the scenario for the next full-scale exercise that will effectively test those areas in which previous improvement items were identified.
