Dear Mr. Griffin:
PMKreutzer By letter dated May 30, 1984, you submitted a 5 year tendon surveillance report for ANO-2 Reactor Containment Building. Based on our review of the report, we have determined that the 5 year tendon surveillance was performed in accordance with the regulatory requirements and the tendons met the require-ments imposed by the reference standards and the NRC staff requirements. Our Safety Evaluation (SE) is enclosed.
With respect to our evaluation concerning indications of filler material leakage, we expect you to review the information in the SE and consider actions, if s
appropriate, to preclude similar problems in the future. However, suggestions contained in the SE do not constitute NRC requiren'ents; therefore, no specific action or written response is required.
If you decide to take further. action in this matter, it is requested that you advise us by response to this letter.
