Shoreham Nuclear Power Station Wading River, New York 11792 Gentlemen:

This is to inform you of the assignment of Mr. John A. Berry of our regional office to the Shoreham Resident Inspector Office as Senior Resident Inspector (SRI) effective August 19, 1985. Mr. Berry will be responsible for NRC activities relating to the startup testing and operational inspection programs for Shoreham.

Mr. Berry has been with Region I for about 2 years in the Division of Reactor

. Projects and is an NRC qualified licensing examiner, and has been the lead person responsible for BWR Operator Licensing in Region I. Prior to coming to Region I, Mr. Berry was employed by EG&G Idaho as a Reactor Operator, Test and Data Engineer, and Contractor licensing examiner.
