, I am vriting to you es a very concerwd citizen of tha city of 1/in .aspolis. Over two million people in this area era going to be exposed to dengarous levels of ruelear pollution in ,

their drinking weter if the 1buticello IOc leer Power Plant, which is 40 miles north of tha Twin Cities - is issued e permit to operate according to tha standeras sat up by the A.7.0. Also millions more down the river will te exposed as well.

I am askirg your co::nission to take imedicte steps to 4

stop this permit. The state of !! int.asote issued tha permit to N.S.P.,

on the cordition that th y regulate tha emount of pc11ution to the

.01/300ths of the leval -the A.F.C. has set as safe. _ Aftar the plant ,

, was built- N.S.P. refused to comply.

and Oregon- elong the Columbia River, due to the suelear emissions from the. _ ,

Hanford Plant- very hagh incidence of leukemia an! cancer. The sene thing has i hoppened in northern Minnesota due to the pollution coming from the Canadien ,

plant. We cannot ellow this type of thing to go unchecked. It is up to_ your comission to assume the responsibility for protecting eech and every American {r citizen in the U.S.A from this type of thing. ,
