Over two million people in this area era going to be exposed to dengarous levels of ruelear pollution in their drinking weter if the 1buticello IOc leer Power Plant, which is 40 miles north of tha Twin Cities - is issued e permit to operate according to tha standeras sat up by the A.7.0.
Also millions more down the river will te exposed as well.
I am askirg your co::nission to take imedicte steps to 4
stop this permit. The state of !! int.asote issued tha permit to N.S.P.,
on the cordition that th y regulate tha emount of pc11ution to the
.01/300ths of the leval -the A.F.C. has set as safe. _ Aftar the plant was built-N.S.P. refused to comply.
