RETEST SCHEDULE FOR DRYWELL TO SUPPRESS 7sei CHAMBER VACUUM BREAYERS PER TECHNICAL SPECIFIC ^rION 4.6.2.1.g HOPE CREEK GENERiTING STATIDN DOCKET NO. 50-354 On May 26, 1992, at 1000 hours0.0116 days <br />0.278 hours <br />0.00165 weeks <br />3.805e-4 months <br />, Hope Creek Generating Station (HCGS) entered Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) 3.6.1.1 because the surveillance Re '. t rements of 4.6.2.1, g cc,uld not be met.

The plant was subsequently brought 1.s Hot Shutdown at 2215 hours0.0256 days <br />0.615 hours <br />0.00366 weeks <br />8.428075e-4 months <br /> on that date.

Inspection of the eight drywell to suppression chamber vacuum breakers revealed that three of the valves had indication of leakage at the valve seating areas.

Details of the inspections and specific corrective actions were provided in Licensee Event Report 92-06 on June 24, 1992.

In accordance with the Surveillance Requirements of TS 4.6.2.1.g a revised test schedule van provided to the NRC on June 3, 1992 (NLR-N92076).

Thq proposed schedule stated that the Surveillance would be performed prior to start-up from the fourth refueling outage and if satisfactory would revert to the Technical Specification interval of 18 months.

The NRC provided its concurrence wJth this schedule by letter dated July 2, 1992.

Prior to start-up from the fourth refueling outage, TS 4.6.2.1.g was successfully p rformed on November 3, 1992.

HCGS has re-established the la month surveillance interval in accordance with Station Technical Specifications and proposed schedule.
