This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Messrs. J. A. Grobe
and J. P. Brown, Jr. of this office on April 29 through June 3,1985, of
activities at Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, authorized by NRC
Construction Permits No. CPPR-148 and CPPR-149 and to the discussion of our
findings with Messrs. M. D. Lyster, C. M. Shuster, F. R. Stead, and
J. J. Waldron at the conclusion of the inspection.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during
the_ inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective
examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
interviews with personnel.
No items of noncompliance with NRC requirements were identified during the
course of this inspection.
In accordance with the NRC's Rules of Practice for Domestic Licensing
Proceedings, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 2, Section 2.790, a
copy of this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public
Document Room.
