070-2928 TVA hereby requests an amendmentEto'its special' nucle'ar material license, SNM-1861, dated September 5, 1979 for Watts Bar Nuclear Plant unit 1 and SNM-1873, dated. February 17, 1981 for unit 2.
Our applications were dated June 8, 1979 for unit 1 and May 13, 1980 for unit 2 and the supplements thereto.
We requested item C on page 9 of each a'pplication be deleted on January 27,'
1983 The purpose was to delete references to. two fire truck pumpers as part of the. plant's fire protection system. Our intent was to delete references of All fire trucks including the "minifire" truck pumper.
Therefore, we request item d on page 9 be also deleted..The system described in the FSAR, section 9.5.1, Fire Protection System, is opertional and the need for the additional protection of fire trucks no longer exists.
In'accordance' with 10 CFR Part' 170.11(a) 5, an amendment fee is not. required.
