Gentlemen:
By letter dated August 25,1992 (Serial: NLS-92 233), Carolina Power & Light Cornpany requested a change to the Technical Specifications for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Unit Nos.1 and 2 The proposed changes increase the acceptable limits for control rod average scram insertion times from 0.040 to 0.049 seconds for each of the rod positionb listed in Technical Specifications 3.1.3.3 and 3.1.3.4.

These typed pages ao being provided for the Staff's convenience in issuing the proposed request. Enclosure 3 provides page change instructions for incorporating the requetted revisions.
