Note to Dr. Hendrie MONTICELLO PLANT The Chairman of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board has_ ordered resumption of the hearing on the application for an operating license.for.the Monticello plant on June'15, 1970, On May 12, 1970,. Northern 8tates filed Amendment No. 26 to its application describing its plans with respect to furnace-sensitized stainless steel in'the reactor plant.

The applicant is most anxious that the staff have'a position on this amendment, which will-need to be reviewed by the ACRS, at the time of the resumption of the hearing.
