NIAGARA MOIIAWK POWER CORPORATION NINE MILE POINT NUCLEAR STATION UNIT #1 t

NARRATIVE'0F OPERATING EXPERIENCE

^~

Q The station operated during the month of April,1985 with a Unit Availability Factor of 96.7% and a Net Design Electrical Capacity Factor of 93.4%.

There were 0 challenges to Electromatic Relief Valves.

Reductions in Capacity Factor were due to high stator water conductivity and condenser tube leaks, Electronic Pressure Regulator failure with Reactor Scram on high. flux, rubber diaphram failure in scram outlet valve air operator.
