Gentlemen:
This refers to 'the inspection conducted by Mr. H. D. Chaney of this office
during the period May 13-14, 1985, of activities authorized by NRC Operating
~ Licenses DPR-51 and NPF-6 for Arkansas Nuclear One, Units 1 and 2, and to the
discussion of our findings with Mr. T. H. Cogburn, and other members of your
. staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection'also involved ~
subsequent. telephone communications on May 20, 1985.
-Areas examined during the inspection included radioactive material transportation
activities, low-level radioactive waste management, and low-level radioactive
waste' storage. facilities. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
selective examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with
personnel, and observations by the inspector.
