River Bend Station - Unit 1 Docket No. 50-458 Enclosed for your review is the Gulf States Utilities Company (GSU) e submittal of the Design Review Report on the River Bend Station (RBS) crankshafts in use on the Transamerica Delaval, Inc. (TDI) Standby Diesel Generators. This report was prepared by Failure Analysis Associates (FaAA) and includes the results of revised analysis (specifically addressing the recent torsiograph test) and recent testing data. This report is intended to document and justify the fatigue margin of the crankshaft for its intended use.
