Dear Mr. Keppler:

FDNTICELID NLCLEAR GENERATING Pl# 6 Docket No. 50-263 License No. DPR-22 in accordance with item 2, of R0 Bulletin 74-14, the follwing information is sulaitted. _.

A review of procedures as requested in item 1, of the bulletin has been completed. A similar review had been initiated prior to receipt of the bulletin as a result of infonnation received from General Electric Company.

On November 20, 1974, criteria and instructions were added to applicable procedures to assure that:

1) Suppression pool cooling will be initiated to prevent or limit high local suppression pool temperatures,
2) The reactor will be tripped if bulk suppression pool temperature becomes excessive,
3) Reactor depressurization will be performed as necessary to limit relief valve flow rates under high suppression pool temperature conditions,
4) Visual inspections of the suppression pool structures will be conducted following extended relief valve discharges.

With these additions, the operating procedures are believed to be adequate with respect to all of the areas described in the bulletin, Yours very truly, kd L. J. Wachter Vice President-pwer Production Lj.
