For the Big Rock Point Plant, your-responses Lwere found;to be incomplete for Items 2.1.2, 2.2.2, 3.1.3, 3.2.3 and 4.5.2.
Brief descriptions;of the deficiencies.are given as guidelines' for-

3 ENCLOSURE-REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION BIG ROCK PLANT DOCKET NO. 50-155 Item 2.1.2 - Incomplete Licensee =needs to submit detailed information describing its vendor
. interface program for reactor trip system components.
Information supplied should state how the program assures that. vendor technical information is
'kept complete, current and controlled throughout the life of the plant and should also indicate how the program will be implemented at Big Rock Point.
. Item 2.2.2 - Incomplete 4 Licensee needs to'present its evaluation of the NUTAC program and describe
-how it will be implemented at Big Rock Point. The staff found the NUTAC program fails to address the concern about establishing and maintaining an interface between all vendors of safety-related equipment _and the utility.
Accordingly, the licensee wil1~need to supplement its response to address this concern. This additional information should describe how current procedures will be modified and new ones initiated to meet each element M
-item 2.2.2 concern.

The staff notes that the licensee's October 2,1984 submittal incorporated Generic Letter 83-28 Item 2.2.2 into the Big Rock Point Living Schedule as Issue 100 with a submittal scheduled for December 31, 1985. The staff also notes that the written interpretation of the issue for Living Schedule Item 100 is not sufficiently comprehensive; thus, additional discussions with the NRC staff are recomended so that the res'ponse will be more complete when received.
