Dear Mr. Keppler:
This letter serves as an update on the status of corrective actions delineated by our final report filed February 7 and April 9, 1985, pursuant to 10CFR50.55(e) concerning Class IE inverters manufactured by Topaz which are utilized in various control panels supplied by General Electric (GE).
Although further delays were experienced as a result of testing, our efforts to readjust the upper and lower voltage setpoints have been completed.
Therefore, all of the Topaz inverters in-stalled in Unit 1 and common have been properly calibrated per FDI-WO3W.
We are currently in the process of ensuring account-ability for the GE supplied spare Topaz Inverters, in order to complete work on FDI-WOBW.
Project Organization personnel will then re-review the associated documentation prior to submittal to GE for closure.
When GE has closed the FDI, the documentation will be made available for NRC review.
