l Notice is hereby given that the U. S. Nuc1 car Regulatory Commission j (the Commission) has issued Amendment No.17 to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-22, issued to the Northern States Puaer Company (the

i i licensee), which revised Technical Specifications for operation of the 2

i Monticello Nucicar Generating Plant (the facility) located in Wright County, Minnesota.

nis amendment revised the Administrative Controls Section of the j Technical Specifications for the facility to reflect changes in the

organizational structure of the corporato headquarters and of the facility.

i  ; ne amendment also clarified the intent of the specification concerning the review process of the Safety Audit Committee.

The application for the amendment complies with the standards and

requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations. We Commission has made appropriate

! i l findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations i

k in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license- amendment. Prict i

l public notice of this amendment is not required since the amendment does i

not involve a significant hazards consideration, f
