Additional Information - Valve Operability As part of the NRC staff's review of your application for an operating license for River Bend Station, the staff has determined the need for additional information demonstrating the operability of the 24 inch drywell purge and vent valves and the 6 inch hydrogen mixing valves. Absent these operability data, the staff will require that these valves be closed during operation.

Please inform NRC Project Manager, Stephen Stern, of your schedule for response and for c?arification or further discussion on this topic. This infomation _is critical to the resolution of technical specifications and SER issues.
