SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION
This letter refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. A.-McQueen and other NRC
Team Members of this office or. December 7-11, 1992, of activities autherized-
by NRC License No. NPF-21, and to the discussion of our findings with you and
members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the enclosed inspection
report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective
examinations of procedures and representative records,-interviews with
personnel, and observations by the inspectors.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified within the scope of this
inspection.
One item was identified as an exercise weakness and pertains to
I
emergency event classification.
The exercise weakness is described in section
7 of the enclosed report. Several areas were noted for improvement by the NRC
'
inspectors and your exercise players and controllers,
in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure
will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
