JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCI. EAR PLANT UNIT 2 NARRATIVE

SUMMARY

OF OPERATIONS MAY, 1985 There were no unit shutdowns or significant' power reductions during the month of May. On 5-24-85 and 5-28-85, the atmospheric relief valve for the 2A main steam line failed open due to the failure of a NTD card. The atmospheric relief valve was closed manually. The NTD card was replaced and calibrated.

The following major safety-related maintenance was performed in the.

month of May:

1.

Miscellaneous corrective and preventive maintenance was performed on the diesel generators.

2.

The atmospheric relief valve for the 2A main steam line was repaired by replacing a NTD card.
