SUBJECT:
CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION FOR AMENDMENT REQUEST DATED MAY 2, 1985 By letter dated May 2, 1985, the Tennessee Valley Authority requested a license amendment to delete reference of the "minifire" truck pumper on page 9 of the license application dated May 13, 1980.
The application merely states that the "minifire" truck pumper is available. The need for additional protection of fire trucks no longer exists now that the "in-house" fire protection system is operational. The proposed change would delete any mention of the "minifire" truck pumper that was used prior to the installation of the "in-house" fire protection system. The proposed change will have no adverse effects on the public health and safety or on the environment. A:cordingly, the staff has concluded that the following conditions have been met.
1.
There is no significant increase in the type or significant increase in the amount of any effluents that may be released offsite, 2.
There is no significant increase in individual or cumulative occupational radiation exposure, 3.
There is no significant construction impact, and 4.
There is no significant increase in the potential for or consequences from radiological accidents.
Therefore, in accordance with 10 CFR 51.22(c)(11), an Environmental Assessment er an Environmental Impact Statement is not warranted for this proposed action.
