Cross Vico President and Chief Nuclear Othccr January 14, 1993 Trojan Nuclear Plant Docket 50-344 License NPF-1 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Consnission Attnt Doctunent Control Desk Washington DC 20555 Dear Sir Te chnic aLSpe cific at iertAmcu dmenLRe que s t s The Nuclear Regulatory Consnission (NRC) is currently reviewing the following four Liccuse Change Applications (LCAs) for Trojant LCA 220 - Reactor Coolant System Pressure / Temperature Limits LCA 223 - Alternate Steam Generator Tube Plugging Criteria LCA 224 - Engineered Safety Features Actuation System Surveillances LCA 226 - Fire Detector Instrtunentation List Corrections LCAs 220, 223 and 224 are no longer required and Portland General Electric Company (PCE) hereby withdraws these applications. It is PGE's understanding that LCA 226 is undergoing final NRC review and the corresponding amendment will be issued shortly. LCA 226 makes needed correctior.s to the Technical Specification list of fire detectors and it is requested that processing of this LCA continue.

In addition, by letter dated February 10, 1992 PGE comnitted to submit two LCAs addressing progransned enhancements described in Generic Letter 88-17 Loss of Decay llent Removal. These LCAs were to address
