_SURRY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING May 16, 1985 The Surry County Board of Supervisors is meeting on 14ay 16,1985, to discuss the Environmental Assessment (EA) of Virginia Electric and Power Company's Dry Cask Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation at the Surry Power Station and has requested an NRC representative attend (See Enclosure 1).
We are sending Fritz Sturz as the_ representative (see Enclosure 2) along with Odell Smith from the Division of Safeguards to the meeting. We also feel that it would be appropriate to invite Charles Billups, your project manager for the EA preparation, to attend this meeting and be available to answer questions.- If he is able to attend, please have hin coordinate with Fritz Sturz (x74205).
