As required by 10 CFR 50.54(p), attached are four (4) copies of Revision 0 of the Duke Power Company Nuclear Security Training and Qualification Plan (T&Q Plan). Revision 0 of the T&Q plan is a compliation of the Oconee, McGuire, and Catawba Nuclear Station Security Training and Qualification plans. Revision 0 of the T&Q plan is intended to supersede the current revisions of the Station Security Plans which are Oconee Revision 11, McGuire Revision 14 and Catawba Revision 16. The three Individual site plans were recrganized to achieve a generic document that retains the commitments of each of the three site documents, and as such is submitted per 10 CFR 50.54(p). Revision 0 does not decrease the effectiveness of any of the Station Security Training and Qualification Plans.
Including night familiarization in firearms requalification is a new requirement for Oconee Nuclear Station Security. This new requirement for Oconee will become effective for Oconee fifteen months after the effective date of this revision.
