Inspection 50-245/85-10; 50-336/85-13 (3/25/85-5/13/85)
This routine safety inspection was of operational and supporting activities at
Millstone Units 1 and 2.
Particular attention was directed to Unit 2 refueling
outage activities.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified, and no reply
to this letter is required.
The following Northeast Utilities letters on issues identified during NRC inspec-
tions have been received and reviewed.
Additional NRC followup will occur during
routine inspections, but we have no questions at this time.
April 2,1985 letter about inspections of the Unit 1 emergency gas turbine
--
generator and the control of manual containment isolation valves.
April 4, 1985 letter about inaccessible pipe supports at Unit 2.
--
April 26,1985 letter on Unit 1 surveillance, radiation protection procedure
--
compliance at Unit 2, and keeping isolation zones clear.
