Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection-conducted by L. A. Yandell of this office during
the period June 1-30, 1985, of activities authorized by NRC Operating License
DPR-40 for Fort Calhoun Station, and to the discussion of our findings with a
member of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during the' inspection included operational safety verification,
followup of IE Information Notices, spent fuel shipment, surveillance testing,
maintenance activities, and followup of Licensee Event Reports (LERs).
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of
procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observa-
.tions by the inspector.
These findings are documented in the enclosed inspec-
tion report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
