Gentlemen:
On May 7-10, 1985, a routine inspection was performed by Mr. J. R. White
of our office for the purpose of reviewing the pre-operational status of
Millstone Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 3 with respect to areas
affecting radiation protection and radioactive waste management as
authorized by NRC Construction Permit No. CPPR-113.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations of NRC requirements
were identified, however, several areas requiring followup effort were
noted.
These areas will be re-examined in subsequent inspections of
your activities.
