Site Audits

Dear Sir:

As a result of a review of our engineering and construction status and schedules, we have determined that Seabrook will be ready for NRR site audits by ICSB, PSB and EQB on the following dates:

ICSB - (95% of safety-related cables installed and terminated) -

November 1985.

PSB - (85% of safety-related cables installed and terminated) -

September 1985.

Electrical Equipment Qualification - (Based on submittal of Equipment Qualification Report in Septe-ber 1985. Discussed at June 13, 1985 meeting) - November 1985.

SQRT/PVORT - (90% of equipment installed and qualified) - November 1985.

We request that your audits be scheduled to support the above dates in order to meet our fuel load date and provide reasonable time to resolve any open items generated from these audits. Also, please advise us by August 30, 1985, of the schedule dates for your audits so we can plan accordingly.

In addition to the above audits, we understand that Region I is planning a Fire Protection audit in late October 1985. This was discussed at the June 27, 1985, Fire Protection meeting in Betheeda at which time ChEB indicated that it would be combining their audit with the Region.
